Aldo Joseph Mina

Aldo Joseph Mina, 57, Indianapolis, passed away Monday, November 28, 2016. He was born in Beech Grove on March 26, 1959 to Aldo Salvatore Mina and Ada Maestri Mina. Aldo was a 1977 graduate of Roncalli High School and worked at Allison Transmission before retiring. He was a member of UAW Local 33 and American Legion Post 355. Aldo enjoyed fishing whenever he had the opportunity. He never met a stranger and loved talking to people. Everyone knew when Aldo was in the room. He was preceded in death by his father and is survived by his mother; sons, Dominic (Megan) and Michael; grandson, Carmine; sisters, Angela Mina, MaryAnn Phillips, Enza Sprauer; brothers, Dominic, Anthony and Gino; and his longtime friend, Lisa Cecconi. Visitation will be Thursday, December 1, 2016 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Daniel F. O'Riley Funeral Home. There will be additional visitation at St. Jude Catholic Church on Friday from 12 noon until 1 p.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated at 1 p.m. Entombment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
