Amanda Blahunka, born on June 27, 2002, left this world too soon on March 12, 2025, at the age of 22. Her vibrant spirit, fierce independence, and loving nature touched the lives of many, creating an indelible mark on all who had the privilege to know her.
A graduate of Center Grove High School, Class of 2020. Amanda showcased her kindness and love for others in her work as a dental assistant. She lit up every day with her bright smile and infectious laughter, making her a remarkable friend to all around her.
Outside of her professional life, Amanda's heartbeat for her love of horses. She dedicated over a decade to 4-H, where her passion flourished, and her spirit soared alongside these majestic creatures. She loved sharing her love of horses to young people by training and teaching them how to ride horses, and jumped at any chance to help them prepare for horse shows. A true embodiment of the adage "work hard, play hard", nothing delighted her more than attending country music concerts or line dancing with her “2nd mom and dad” Carla and Billy.
Amanda was known for her sharp wit and great sense of humor, which never failed to bring joy to those lucky enough to be in her presence. She was smart, vivacious, and a beacon of light, illuminating any room she entered. Beyond her remarkable personality, Amanda was deeply devoted to her family; her proudest accomplishments were the moments spent as the best big sister to her siblings, Krista and Evan.
Amanda is survived by her loving parents; Dave & Cindy Blahunka, sister; Krista Blahunka, brother; Evan Blahunka, grandma; Joy Molter, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
