Barbara Ann Hurrle died at St. Paul Hermitage where she received loving care for 9 years. Barbara (Finn) was born in Chicago, Illinois and spent most of her life in Indianapolis. She met Casimir Hurrle in 1948 and they were married 56 happy years. She is survived by 6 children: Theresa Roussel (John), Dave Hurrle (Carol), Don Hurrle (Dotti), Eva Hurrle, Peggy Teagardin (Gary) and Dan Hurrle (Beth) and enjoyed her 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She is also survived by 3 half-sisters: Patty Leffler, Maryellen Bein and Martha Craig. Barbara’s unconditional love for her husband, Cass, and her fierce loyalty to her children were her special gifts to us. Barbara was a member of the Monsignor Downey Knights of Columbus Musi-gals, worked for the Daisies at St. Paul Hermitage and volunteered for many reverse raffles, dinners and dances at the Knights of Columbus. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 10 a.m. at St. Roch Catholic Church. Visitation will be Monday, May 9, 2016 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. in Daniel F. O’Riley Funeral Home where morning prayers will be said on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. prior to Mass. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Roch Catholic Church or St. Paul Hermitage in Barbara’s name. Online condolences may be shared with the family at orileyfuneralhome.com.
