Brian D. Kaufman, 39, of Indianapolis, passed away suddenly on June 23, 2020 at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis. Brian was born on October 16, 1980 in Indianapolis to James Kaufman and Velma (Lawler) Northcutt.
Brian graduated from Southport High School. Upon his graduation, Brian began working as a contractor. He owned his own business, Miracle Renovations for over 20 years. Brian had a very creative mind and could build anything you asked him to. Brian loved sports and was an avid Indianapolis Colts fan. Brian loved his daughters and enjoyed spending time with his family. His funny personality will be greatly missed by all of those who loved him.
Brian is preceded in death by his step-father, James Northcutt; his uncle, David Lawler; and grandparents.
Along with his parents, survivors include his two precious daughters, Elizabeth and Juliet Kaufman; step-mother, Mary Kaufman; brothers, James (Heather) and Kenneth Kaufman; step siblings, Ben (Dania) and Brett (Julia) Northcutt, Dr. Kimberly (Dr. George) Preciado, Kellie (Michael) Estes, Sharon (Tommy) Poynter, Sandy (JD) Taylor, Tonya Lothery; significant other, Cassie Morgan; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Cremation and final care arrangements are entrusted to the O’Riley Funeral Home, 6107 South East Street, Indianapolis. A private family memorial service is being planned to commemorate Brian’s life.
