Christina M. Koors

Christina M. (Koteff) Koors, 30, Indianapolis, passed away October 1, 2017, as a patient at Metro Health in Cleveland. Christina was born September 4, 1987, in Boca Raton, Florida, to Walter and Darby (Elliott) Koteff, who survive.

Christina graduated from Lexington Catholic High School, Lexington, Kentucky, in 2006 and earned a degree in political science from her beloved Butler University in 2010. Christina achieved her lifelong dream of becoming an attorney just this year, after earning her Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the Indiana University McKinney School of Law. She had dreams of practicing family law so that she could be an advocate for children. She was a member of St. Roch Catholic Church, the Indianapolis Bar Association, and the Butler University Young Alumni Association.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Walter and Florence Koteff.

Survivors include her loving husband, E.J. Koors, to whom she was united in marriage November 24, 2012; parents, Walter and Darby Koteff; brother, Robert Koteff; sister, Kimberly Koteff; maternal grandparents, Joanne Johns and Lowell & Dean Elliott; a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 6, 2017 at the Daniel F. O'Riley Funeral Home, 6107 S. East Street, Indianapolis, where morning prayers will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 7, 2017. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at St. Roch Catholic Church.
