David Dean Smith, II

David Dean Smith II, 22, of Indianapolis, passed away on December 9, 2018. David was born on November 5, 1996 in Indianapolis to his parents, David Dean Smith, Sr. and Dawn (Kesler) Campbell who survive.

David was an amazing guy to be around as he was smart, charming, and showed immense love and loyalty to those that surrounded him. He graduated from Perry Meridian High School in 2014, while enrolled there he attended Central Nine Career Center where he was involved in the fire and rescue program and received a certificate for his training. David then went on to be employed by Ulta Beauty Company as a warehouse associate. David had plans to attend college and pursue a degree in I.T. He will be greatly missed by all of his friends and family.

Survivors include his mother, Dawn (Kesler) Campbell; his father, David Dean (fiancé, Carol Greene) Smith, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Patricia and Charles Kesler; paternal grandparents, Ida and Earl Smith; siblings, Marcus Flores and Katie Campbell; step-siblings, Michael, Nicholas, Zachary, and David Greene; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate David’s life on Friday, December 14, 2018 at the Daniel F. O’Riley Funeral Home, 6107 South East Street, Indianapolis, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. with the funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
