David F. Comley, 60, Indianapolis, passed away June 6, 2018. Dave was born February 11, 1958, in Indianapolis, to the late William G. and Rosemund Marie (Huck) Comley.
Dave graduated from Perry Meridian High School in 1976. He worked for many years at Koenig Bauer & Egenolf and at Cadillac Plastics. Most recently, Dave worked for Creative Industries. He was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church. An avid bowler, he was involved in several bowling leagues and had served as president of the St. Roch and the Stitzer Buick Bowling Leagues. He enjoyed spending time at the lake in northern Indiana – fishing, boating, and water skiing were among his favorite activities while sipping on a cold Budweiser. Above all, Dave was a great friend to many and a very proud father of his son, Nate.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Steven W. Comley.
Survivors include his wife, Denise (Davidson) Comley, to whom he was united in marriage July 23, 1983; son, Nate Comley; sisters, Linda (Mike) Glenn, Joyce (Dennis) Adcock, a host of nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will gather on Sunday, June 10, 2018, 2 to 7 p.m. in the Daniel F. O’Riley Funeral Home, where morning prayers will be said on Monday, June 11, 2018, at 9:45 a.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Monday at Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
