Donald Joseph Gough, 85, Indianapolis, passed away Monday, June 6, 2016. He was born in Evansville, IN on April 16, 1931 to Orville and Coletta Butcher Gough. Donald served in the USMC during the Korean War. He was a sheet metal worker with the Sheet Metal Workers Local 20 for 60 years working most recently for Kirk & Blum Manufacturing Co. Donald was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Council 3660, and American Legion Post 252. He is survived by his wife, A. Christine Floyd Gough; son, Michael Gough (Ann); daughter, Julie Wicks (Mike); brother, Carl Gough; grandchildren, Stephanie Wicks, Joseph Wicks, Christie Wicks, Mitchell Gough, and Sam Gough. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at 11 a.m. in St. Mark Catholic Church. Visitation will be Monday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. in Daniel F. O'Riley Funeral Home where morning prayers will be said on Tuesday at 10:30 am prior to Mass. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Franciscan Hospice House.
