Donna S. Browning

Donna S. Browning, 82, Indianapolis, passed away August 7, 2021. Mrs. Browning was born March 18, 1939, in Bloomington, to the late Bernard and Mary Jo (Livingston) Westrich.

Donna graduated from Emmerich Manual High School and married Frederick Browning on April 19, 1957. She worked as a teacher’s aid for the Indianapolis Public School System, as a receptionist for the Indiana University School of Dentistry, and was also employed with Western Electric. Her favorite “job” of all was being the fulltime babysitter for her three grandsons. It was a perfect fit for Donna, Beau, Max, and Adam. Donna was a member of Eta Pi Kappa Sorority and enjoyed various crafts and playing bingo. She and Fred were active in the classic car world and collected Studebakers through the years. Donna will be fondly remembered by her loving family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Frederick Browning.

Survivors include two children, Jeffery A. (Janet) Browning and Cindy J. (Philip) Jones; grandsons, Beau and Max Browning, Adam (Kim) Lynch.
