Dorothy M. Raver Scheidler

Dorothy M. Scheidler, died peacefully Tuesday, August 23, 2022. She was born on April 3, 1928, in Greensburg, Indiana to William and Rose Ricke Raver.

Dorothy graduated from Clarksburg High School in 1945. She enjoyed arranging flowers, playing euchre, and watching local sporting events. She always had time for ice cream and cherry pie. Dorothy greatest love was her family, she always found time to support her children and grandchildren in all their activities and special events.

Dorothy was a charter member of St. Barnabas Catholic Church.

Dorothy is preceded death by her beloved husband Stephen Scheidler, daughter Mary Ann Scheidler, son Andrew, sisters Esther Wallpe, Roselyn Hoeing, brother Hubert Raver.

Dorothy is survived by her children Edward (Donna) Scheidler, Anita (Mike) Johnson, 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Visitation for Dorothy will be Saturday, August 27, 2022, from 8:30 – 9:30 at St. Barnabas Catholic Church, 8300 Rahke Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46217, the rosary will be recited at 9:30 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am.
