E. Peter Cavallaro, 97, Greenwood, passed away December 29, 2020. Mr. Cavallaro was born October 7, 1923, in Indianapolis, to the late Pietro and Christina (Colarocco) Cavallaro.
Pete graduated from Arsenal Technical High School and served briefly in the United States Army. He worked for forty years for Cornelius Printing Company, retiring as a web pressman. During his retirement years, he worked trade shows with Americrawl; Pete loved people, and his ability to connect with others was a perfect fit for this work. A longtime member of St. Barnabas Catholic Church, he was also a member of the Knights of Columbus 3660. He also enjoyed gardening and fishing. Pete will be fondly remembered by a loving family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Rose (Greiner) Cavallaro; brothers, Andy and Tony Cavallaro.
Survivors include two daughters, Marianne Dickey and Judy (Mark) Ralph; grandchildren, Jimmy (Kristie) Ralph, Nathan (Kristina) Ralph, Clay Ralph, Mark Alan (Kaitlyn) Ralph, and Wil Ralph; Jessica Kinkoph, Kayla (Clay) Fulkerson, Erica (Jason) Myers, and Matthew Dickey; 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation will not be observed. The Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m., Saturday, January 2, 2021, in St. Barnabas Catholic Church. Mass will be live streamed by visiting the O’Riley Facebook Page, https://www.facebook.com/orileyfuneralhome/. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
