Edward (Ed) Robert Aide, 80 passed from this world on January 6, 2025, at his home with his wife Lorraine by his side. Born on December 30, 1944, in Poughkeepsie, New York. Edward proved himself not only as a successful entrepreneur but also as a cherished member of his community.

As the owner and president of Modern Maid Cleaning Service for over three decades. Edward showed an unwavering dedication to his craft. His entrepreneurial spirit was a testament to his hard work and commitment, which left an impression on all who had worked alongside him. Edward's success was built on the foundation of strong relationships and genuine connections, a true reflection of his character.

Outside of his professional life, Edward was a man of many interests. He relished the art of cooking and found joy in dining in and out, particularly reveling in the rich flavors of his Middle Eastern heritage. This passion for food was not simply about sustenance, it was a celebration of culture, family, and togetherness, whether hosting gatherings or enjoying meals with loved ones.

Ed was an avid golfer. He also embraced the camaraderie of the sport as a proud member of The Legends Golf Club as well as member of his Weekly “LOG” League. Golf offered Ed a sanctuary where he could share laughter, stories, and the thrill of friendly competition with fellow enthusiasts.

He leaves behind a devoted family who will carry his legacy with pride. Edward is survived by his beloved wife  Lorraine Aide, his cherished children Trisha, (Dave), grandchildren Morgan and Zachary Tennis, Edward, (Annie) Aide, grandchildren, James Lehman, Carter, and Madison Aide. His brother Tom Aide, his sister Michele Stewart (Joe) and a host of loving nieces, nephews, and cousins who have all been touched by his kindness and love. Edward’s bond with his family was profound, built on love, respect, and shared experiences that will forever remain etched in their hearts.

Ed joins his late parents Edward J. Aide and Najla Nejame Aide, and his sister Nadine (Rick) Petty, in eternal peace.

His life was marked by devotion to family, hard work, and an unwavering spirit, a legacy that will inspire those who knew him to live with the same passion and love. In celebrating Edward's remarkable journey, we honor a life well-lived, one that created a tapestry of memories cherished and celebrated by many.
