Evelyn Marie Boren died Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Cumberland Pointe Health Campus, West Lafayette, IN. She was born May 16, 1921 in Evansville, IN to Ervin Brockmole and Hazel (Ertel) Brockmole. On January 25, 1943 she married Enos Martin Boren in Evansville, IN. He preceded her in death on May 14, 1998. Evelyn attended St. Joseph Grade School and graduated from Central High School in Evansville in 1939. She had worked for Indiana Bell in Evansville and was a homemaker. She was a former resident of Evansville, Indianapolis, and Fowler where she attended Sacred Heart Church. Evelyn was an avid reader, loved playing euchre, enjoyed cross-stitch, and watching “The Young and Restless.” She also was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. Evelyn was a very devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her daughters dearly and was very strong in her Catholic faith. She had a quiet personality and was kind and gracious to all she met. She is survived by three daughters, Judy Goodman of Fowler, IN, Linda Bilyeu (Timothy) of Vero Beach, FL, Kris Moore (John) of Indianapolis, IN, and a son-in-law, Jerry Lynch (Scottie) of Avon, IN. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, Michael Windler, Lori Satz (Andrew), Lisa Zampa Brad), Mark Windler (Jenny), Doug Lynch (Danielle), Rob Bilyeu (Aileen), Matt Bilyeu (Kristy), Ashlyn Moore, and Dustin Moore; and 14 great grandchildren, Corey Windler, Dylan Windler, Andrew Satz, Rachael Satz, Cade Satz, Alexa Satz, Dominick Zampa, Zachary Zampa, Brody Zampa, Jake Windler, Luke Windler, Jordan Lynch, Finn Bilyeu, and Emily Bilyeu. In addition to her parents, and her husband, Evelyn was preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara Jane Lynch. Visitation will be Monday, April 3, 2017 in St. Joseph Catholic Church, 618 E. Virginia St., Evansville, IN 47711 from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery, Haubstadt, IN.
