Garry M. Kegley

INDPLS - Garry M Kegley, 64, passed away Sunday, September 10, 2023 at his home. He was born April 8, 1959, in Beech Grove, IN. He was a graduate of Perry Meridian HS in 1977. He worked for 30 years in residential buildings as a carpenter. Garry is survived by his mother, Suzanne, and siblings: Tim (Patty), Sara (Scott), Christine (David), and John (Jerri), 18 nieces and nephews, 27 great nieces and nephews who he enjoyed spoiling, and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Thomas, his grandparents Marshall & Dorothy Kegley, and Robert & Kathryn Heiskell. He was also preceded in death by his aunt, Nancy Albrecht. When not working he enjoyed camping in the State Parks, music from the 70s and 80s, and eating German food and shopping at the Heidelberg Gift Shop. He loved designing and creating gifts from wood and stained glass.

Thanks to the doctors and nurses who work at St Francis Alliance Four Tower who cared for Garry during his recent stay. A special thanks to Dr. Robert Daly.

Visitation will be held at O'Riley Branson Funeral Home on Friday, September 29, 2023 from 4 to 6 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Barnabas Catholic Church at 11 am on Saturday September 30. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
