Henry R. "Hank" Schonhoff, 93, Indianapolis, passed away Saturday, March 25, 2017. He was born in Quincy, IL on September 8, 1923 to Henry and Helen Herrman Schonhoff. Hank was a 1947 graduate of Quincy University where he earned his degree in business administration. He served in the US Navy during WWII. He worked in sales and marketing for Brower Manufacturing in Quincy, IL for 20 years. While in Quincy, he served as the president of the Sales and Marketing Executives Club. He also worked for Anderson Box Co. (division of Inland Container) in Indianapolis for 8 years and 12 years for Warner Corp. in North Manchester, IN where he retired as President in 1987. Hank was a member of St. Barnabas Catholic Church where served as a Eucharistic Minister for the church and St. Francis Hospital. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 3660 and the Bishop Chatard Assembly 4th Degree Knights of Columbus. Hank was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Twiehaus Schonhoff; brothers, Andy, Carl, and Bernard Schonhoff; and his grandson, Ben Smith. He is survived by his children, Mary Smith (Dave), Kathryn Shearon (Will), Thomas Schonhoff (Maria), Brother Steven Schonhoff S.F.C., Jerome Schonhoff (Pat), Mark Schonhoff (Terry); 22 grandchildren; and 31 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 29, 2017 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. in Daniel F. O'Riley Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 a.m. in St. Barnabas Catholic Church. Burial will be Friday at 12 noon in Calvary Cemetery in Quincy, IL.
