James 'Jimi' S. Cahill

James "Jimi" S. Cahill, 62, Mooresville, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2017. He was born in Indianapolis on June 26, 1954 to James E. and Carole Anne Hamblin Cahill. Jimi retired from Teamsters Local 716 in 2015 after serving as business advisor and 2 terms (6 years) as president. He worked at Southside Ready Mix as a mixer driver for 31 years. Jimi was preceded in death by his parents; his nephew and godson, Donald Cahill; and his nephew, Eric Cahill. He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Arthur Searcy Cahill; sister, Barbara Winningham (Rick); brothers, Gary and Danny Cahill; father and mother-in-law, Clayton Dean and Patricia Ann Arthur; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins. Visitation will be Friday, January 27, 2017 at Daniel F. O'Riley Funeral Home from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. There will be additional visitation on Saturday at St. Ann Catholic Church from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. immediately followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Wheeler Mission. Online condolences may be shared with the family at orileyfuneralhome.com.
