Jane "Betty" E. Walker

Jane “Betty” E. Walker, 94 of Indianapolis, died peacefully Sunday, January 29, 2023 at home.  She was born on November 19, 1928, in Beech Grove.

On October 14, 1950, she married the love of her life Edward B. Walker.

Betty graduated from Holy Name Grade School and St. John Academy.  She was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church since 1959. 

Betty is survived by her children Jim (Julie) Walker, Linda (Tim) Lanie, Candy (Kenny) Robinson, Teri Watters, Tom Walker, Bob Walker, Tony (Andrea) Walker. Sisters Marie Reid, Margie Forrester, brothers Jim Blatz, Joe (Sherry) Blatz, 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents  Herbert and Florence Blatz, husband Edward Walker, son Donny Walker, sister Hilda Benton, brother Leo Blatz.

Visitation for Betty will be Thursday, February 2, from 4 – 8 PM at O’Riley Branson Funeral Service and Crematory, 6107 S. East Street, Indianapolis, Indiana.  Visitation will also be Friday, February 3 from 9:30 – 10:30 AM at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 2905 Carson Ave., Indianapolis, Indiana, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM.  Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.

In memory of Betty memorials may be made to Bishop Simon Brute’ College Seminary.
