Jeanette Marie Miller

Jeanette Marie Miller, 51, of Indianapolis, passed away at her home on Thursday, March 8, 2018. Born in Ft. Wayne, Indiana on March 27, 1966 Jeanette was the daughter of Stephen T. and Patricia A. (Cook) Poinsatte; her mother survives and resides in Ft. Wayne. On November 13, 1993, Jeanette was united in marriage to her loving husband, Bruce L. Miller and he also survives.

Jeanette graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting and received her Master’s Degree in education from the University of Toledo, Ohio. She worked as an elementary teacher in Toledo for several years. Jeanette was a proud and loving homemaker for her beloved husband and two daughters. She was an active member of Nativity Catholic Church where she was a member of the W.O.W. group and served on the funeral committee at church.

Other survivors include her two daughters, Gianna M. Miller and Lauren A. Miller both of Indianapolis; her brother, Phillip S. (Michelle) Poinsatte of Boston, Massachusetts; her sister, Julie A. (Rick) Nill of Ft. Wayne; and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of Jeanette Miller from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 11, 2018 in the Daniel F. O’Riley Funeral Home, 6107 S. East Street, Indianapolis. Additional calling will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 12, 2018 at Nativity Catholic Church in Indianapolis. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at the church. Burial will take place at Catholic Cemetery in Ft. Wayne at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 13, 2018.
