Jesse D. Fleming, 39, of Greenwood, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 29, 2019 while on spring break with his loving family in Mason, Ohio. Born September 2, 1979, Jesse was the son of Jack Fleming of Speedway and Anne (Ousley) of Indianapolis. On June 30, 2006 Jesse was united in marriage to his loving wife, Megan S. (Crist) Fleming and she survives.
Jesse was a 1997 graduate of Greenwood High School. He received a bachelor’s from I.U.P.U.I and a master’s degree in Theology. Jesse proudly supported his family as an operations manager at FedEx for over eight years. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Christian Church.
Other survivors include his 9-year-old daughter, Grace Ann Fleming and his 11-month-old twins, Mary Jacquelyn and Madelyn Rose Fleming all of Greenwood; his paternal grandmother, Norma Fleming of Camdenton, Missouri; his brother, Jason (Lisa) Fleming of Speedway; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jan and Gary Crist of Greenwood; along with many nieces, other extended family members and a host friends.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of Jesse Fleming from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 in the Daniel F. O’Riley Funeral Home, 6107 S. East Street, Indianapolis. The funeral service will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a memorial contribution to an education savings plan that is in the process of being arranged (Please make checks payable to Megan Fleming) or Camp Allendale in Trafalgar, Indiana; envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
