John A. Bradley, 92, of Indianapolis, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2018 at his home. Born in Daviess County, Indiana on January 21, 1926, John was one of 15 children born to Gus and Anna (Brewer) Bradley. He was united in marriage to his loving wife, Dorothy M. (Tewell) Bradley and she survives.
John worked as a sheet metal worker and pipe fitter for Amtrak for many years. He was a faithful member of St. Mark Catholic Church in Indianapolis where he was a co-founder and active volunteer with the St. Vincent de Paul Society at St. Mark Church.
He is also preceded in death by his infant son, Brad Stephen Bradley.
Other survivors include his four sons, Keith Thomas (Shanan) Bradley of Martinsville, Michael Lee (Christine) Bradley of South Bend, Patrick Alan (Kittie) Bradley of Flat Rock, Indiana, and Greg (Josie) Bradley of Avon; five siblings, seven grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at St. Mark Catholic Church, Indianapolis. Burial will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 5, 2018 in St. John Catholic Cemetery in Loogootee, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the St. Vincent de Paul Society at St. Mark Catholic Church; envelopes will be provided. Care and arrangements are entrusted to the Daniel F.
