Josephine A. Henn

Josephine A. Henn, 81, of Indianapolis, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2018 at her home. Born in Indianapolis on May 16, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Sam and Theresa (Qurazzo) Comado. On June 6, 1964 Josephine was united in marriage to Patrick C. Henn and he survives.

She was a 1954 graduate of St. Mary Academy in Indianapolis and attended Marian College. Josephine enjoyed a long career as a school teacher. She retired from Southport High School after many years of tutoring students with learning disabilities.

Along with her parents, Josephine is also preceded in death by her brother, Michael Comado, and two sisters, Mary P. West, and Rosemarie Paugh.

Other survivors include her two sons, Patrick G. (Bobbi) Henn of Greenwood, and David M. (Mary Ellen) Henn of Greenwood; her brother, Salvatore Comado of St. Louis; her sister, Margaret R. (William) Thornberry of McCordsville; and four grandchildren, Dominic, Noah, Sydney, and Collin.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of Josephine A. Henn from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, February 5, 2018 in the Daniel F. O’Riley Funeral Home, 6107 S. East Street, Indianapolis. Morning prayers will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at the funeral home followed by 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mark Catholic Church.
