Julia Kathryn Burns

Julia Kathryn Burns, 65 of Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday, February 23 at the Franciscan Hospice House. She was born November 8, 1956, in Indianapolis.
Julia had worked at ATT from 1994 until 2009, then she achieved her dream job as a realtor with Weichert Realtor and had been working with them until her death.
She was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church. Julia’s passions in life were gardening, yard work, house plants. She enjoyed baking and cooking and traveling, playing euchre, hanging out beside a bonfire, and time with her friends and family at tiki pool parties.
Julia is preceded in death by her father Donald Nelis, brother James Dean Scott. She is survived by her children Erika Burns Silvers, Carol Burns, Thomas Burns, mother Patricia Nelis, fiancé Tim Callas, sibling Jeff Scott, Kim Durham, Stevie Nelis, grandson Everett Burns.
A Celebration of Life for Julia will be held at a later date.
Memorials in Julia’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
