Kathleen B. Kalina

Kathleen B. Kalina, 85, of Indianapolis, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2024.  She was born on September 20, 1938, in Steubenville, Ohio.

Kathleen was a respiratory therapist until her retirement in 2016.  She was a member of St. Roch Catholic Church.  She was supportive of many Catholic charities.

Kathleen was an avid reader, was very studious, loved to garden and was a history buff.  She stayed active until the very end.  The most joyous thing she enjoyed doing was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she loved very much.

Kathleen is survived by her beloved children, Kathy Kalina, and Hank Kalina, grandchildren Nicholas, and Lauren and great-grandson Walter, sister Martha Mondy, brothers Lawrence Bushlow, and John Bushlow.

Kathleen is preceded in death by her parents, John and Amelia Svalesky Bushlow, husband Hank Kalina Sr., daughter Elizabeth, and sister Maureen Pooler.

A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. John Bosco Catholic Church, 220 N Main St, Churubusco, IN 46723, on February 10, 2024 at 10:00 AM.   A private family inurnment will be in the Catholic Cemetery in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
