Lola E. Hodge

Lola Eleanor Hodge 67, passed away on February 24, 2021. Lola was born July 8, 1953 in Tremonton, Utah to the late Jennie Garcia and Manuel Rebeterano.

Lola Hodge was a free spirit. She lived life on her own terms and lived life to the fullest. She never met a stranger she didn’t befriend. She loved spending time traveling, trying new things, and spending time with her family. If there was music playing, she was dancing. She danced her way through life. She had a zest for life that was unmatched. She cherished spending time with her family but especially her boys. She could light a room up with her presence and was often the life of the party. She found joy in the simple things of life. She never missed an opportunity to stop and smell the roses. She loved The Wizard of Oz and all that it stood for. She has finally clicked her heels and traveled over the rainbow to be with those that have gone on before her. She is loved, was loved, and will continue to be loved.

Lola was preceded in death by siblings, Alex and Paul. She is survived by her sons Fred M. Martinez and Benjamin R. Martinez; Siblings Bill, John, Rudy, Felix ,Ernest, Linda, Rose Ann, and Ernestine; Grandsons, Granddaughters, numerous Nieces, Nephews, and Friends, especially Vanessa.

Visitation will be Friday, February 26, 2021 from 11:00AM to 12:00PM at O'Riley Funeral Home, 6107 South East Street, Indianapolis. The memorial service will begin at 12:00PM on Friday in the funeral home. The service will be live-streamed from beginning at 12:00PM EST on the www.ORileyFuneralHome.com.
