Mark J. Rogers, 71, Indianapolis, passed away March 26, 2018. Mr. Rogers was born October 29, 1946, to the late Carol V. “Chuck” and Anne Frances (McGovern) Rogers.
He proudly served in the United States Army for several years during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Europe. He was employed by Amtrak for many years, prior to his retirement. Mark was quite active in the recovery community and was very generous with his time and resources for local non-profit organizations. He enjoyed helping others.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his third wife, Billie Lovin- Borer and his sister Susan Rogers.
Survivors include: his children, Megan (A.J.) Lanz, Katie (Daniel) Roahrig, Nick Rogers, and Lorri Hummel; grandsons, Emerson James Roahrig and Rich Hummel; brother, Matthew Rogers.
Calling hours will not be observed. The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m., Thursday, March 29, 2018, in the chapel at Calvary Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Daniel F.
