Michael L. Brown

Michael L. Brown, 64, of Indianapolis, passed away the morning of Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Franciscan St. Francis Health in Indianapolis. Born September 10, 1954 in Indianapolis, Mike was the son of the late Carl and Marlene (Ferrari) Brown.

Mike was proudly employed as a journeyman/pressman at Gannett/Indianapolis Star for 47 years; he retired in 2017. A person of faith and kind spirit, he grew up in St. Mark Parish. Mike was a loving brother, uncle, great uncle and friend, but considered his two dogs and three cats his true family.

Survivors include his two sisters, Carla J. Henderson of Indianapolis, and Marnita L. (Dan) Louzon of Indianapolis; two nephews, Matthew L. (Jenny) Louzon, and Nicholas J. (Michelle) Louzon; his niece, Regina M. (Wes) Eddington; and his great niece, Penelope Eddington.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of Mike Brown from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 in the Daniel F. O’Riley Funeral Home, 6107 S. East Street, Indianapolis. Additional calling will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at the funeral home followed by morning prayers at 10:45 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Mark Catholic Church.
