Morgan Lee Gaither, 22, of Indianapolis passed away Thursday, May 18, 2017 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Montana. Born April 17, 1995, Morgan is the oldest child of John R. and LeeAnn C. (Terre) Gaither.
Full of life and school spirit, Morgan was a 2013 graduate of Perry Meridian High School where she played volleyball and was a member of the National Honor Society. During her high school years, she worked at Monument Circle in the Soldiers and Sailors Monument and the Indiana War Memorial. She was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church where she enjoyed building relationships as a volleyball coach. Morgan enjoyed helping her father with RC blimp operations at Colts, Ice and Fuel games. Morgan recently graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Resources; while attending IU, she served as an RA, participated in IU Recreational Sports Association, and volunteered at the Jill Behrman 5K Run/Walk every year. During her years in Bloomington, Morgan worked in a law firm and at Chik-fil-a as a marketing director in the Bloomington Mall.
A true explorer, Morgan enjoyed working summer jobs outside of Indiana; her latest adventure, last summer, took her on a tour of Europe where she visited Greece, Ireland, Spain, and Italy. A loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and true friend to everyone, Morgan got a great amount of joy out of building meaningful relationships with others. Eager to start a career and continue building relationships, Morgan was traveling to Montana to start work as the office and hospitality manager at a guest ranch in rural Montana when the fatal accident occurred.
