Noriko Kato Stahl, 50, of Indianapolis, passed away unexpectedly on March 11, 2024, at home. Noriko was born in Hiroshima, Japan on December 5, 1973, to Hisanori & Ikuko Kato, who survive. Noriko was loving, caring and giving. At times Noriko was shy, but always humble. She was kind and cared for others like they were her family. She enjoyed helping others and spent much of her career in marketing and translating the Japanese language. Being the single mother of Dillon & Sean, she put her boys first before all else. Noriko was immersed in her Japanese Culture and made sure her boys were well versed in the English language as well as making sure that they could speak fluent Japanese. She loved to travel with her sons and spent every summer break with them in Japan. Dillon & Sean would continue their education during this time going to school in Hiroshima. Noriko was passionate about preparing her sons for anything and everything that they may encounter in the future.
Along with her parents, Noriko is survived by her sons; Dillon Stahl & Sean Stahl, brother; Kenichi Kato, father and mother-in-law; Gerald & Paula Stahl and father of Dillion & Sean; Daniel Stahl.
Noriko’s Life Celebration® Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at St. Mark Catholic Church (535 E. Edgewood Ave., Indianapolis, Indiana 46227) from 10:00am-12:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be immediately following in the church.
