Norma Jeanne Morrison

Norma Jeanne Morrison, 94 of Indianapolis passed away Monday February 13, 2023. She was born September 26, 1928, in Indianapolis to Patrick E. And Ora Katherine (Nentrup) Fitzpatrick. 

Jeanne graduated from Sacred Heart High School and later worked for Bell Telephone, Avon, and Welcome Wagon. 

In Jeanne’s younger days she enjoyed bowling with friends and family. Later in life she developed a passion for golf and even got a “Hole-in-One” at Ottie Golf Course in Greenwood. Jeanne’s lifelong passion was playing bridge where she could enjoy the company of her friends. She was member of St Mark Catholic Church. 

On July 16, 1955, she married the love of her life Richard P. Morrison and he survives. Jeanne is also survived by their children Timothy Morrison and Michele (Richard) Darragh, and grandchildren Richard (Kelly) Darragh, Steven (Jessica) Darragh, Allyson Darragh, and three great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings Donald Fitzpatrick, Mary Poole, and Ann Ladd. 

Jeanne was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Everyone enjoyed her great sense of humor and kind heart. She will be missed by all of her family and friends. 

A memorial gathering will be Tuesday February 21, 2023 from 9:30-10:45 at O’Riley Branson Funeral Services and Crematory, 6107 E. East Street, Indianapolis, Indiana. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 at St Mark Catholic Church, 535 Edgewood Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana. Entombment will be Calvary Cemetery.
