Patricia Ann Forler Rapp

Patricia Ann Forler Rapp, born on October 2, 1949, in Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2025, in her beloved hometown. Patricia's life was a tapestry woven with compassion, dedication, and love, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew her.

A proud graduate of Little Flower Grade School, St. Mary Academy and Marian College, Patricia devoted over 40 years to her career as a Clinical Dietitian. Her work was more than just a profession; it was a lifelong passion that allowed her to touch the lives of countless individuals. Patricia used her skills to educate and uplift those around her, always providing support with a warm smile and a kind heart.

On August 4, 1973, Patricia married her beloved husband, Larry Rapp, at Little Flower Catholic Church. This union was a testament to their deep love and mutual respect, and together they created a beautiful life filled with laughter and joy. Their partnership reflected the values of commitment and compassion, serving as an inspiration to all who witnessed their journey together. She was a faithful volunteer with the St. Vincent de Paul Society helpline for several years.

Patricia’s interests extended beyond her professional life. She found great joy in participating in the Fireball Square Dance Club, where she fostered friendships and made cherished memories. Her passion for Bible study further exemplified her deep spirituality and desire to connect with her community on a meaningful level.

She will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives she enriched, her legacy living on through the stories shared, and the lives she impacted.

Patricia is survived by her beloved husband Larry R. Rapp, son Daniel W. Rapp, grandson Zachary M. Rapp, and sister Charolette J. Richardson. She is preceded in death by her parents Daniel and Irene Forler.

Friends and family are invited to honor Patricia’s life and contributions during a visitation that will take place on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM, at Little Flower Catholic Church, located at 4720 East 13th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46201.
