Peter Quinn Tuttle, Sr. passed away peacefully, August 24, 2024 at the age of 83. 

Peter was born in Indianapolis, May 18, 1941 to Harry & Kathryn Quinn Tuttle. He was a 1960 graduate of North Central High School. Peter attended both Indiana University, Bloomington and Parsons College, Fairfield, Iowa. He proudly served in the US Army Reserve. 

Peter was the owner and CEO of Tuttle Aluminum & Bronze for 40 years. 

He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Jill Benham Tuttle. He is also survived by his four children with his late wife Judy: Elizabeth Tuttle Carmichael (William), Quinn Tuttle, Alex Tuttle and Emily Tuttle DeMilt(Dustin); sister, Sarah Tuttle Switek (Bob).  

Also surviving are his 16 beloved grandchildren: Megan Carmichael, Alex, Carter & Maisie French; Annabelle, Chloe, Peter & Robert Tuttle; Hannah, Sam, Charlie, Kate & Quinn Tuttle; Ellie, Jude & Luke DeMilt. 

He is predeceased by his parents, his brother Tom Tuttle and first wife, Judith Cunningham Tuttle.  

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, in St. Luke Catholic Church, 7575 Holliday Drive East, with visitation there from 10:30 a.m.  Private inurnment will be at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery.  

Memorial contributions are strongly encouraged instead of flowers and may be directed to the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation.
