Philip R. Miceli

Philip Rosario Miceli, 75, Carmel, passed away Friday, April 22, 2016. He was born on August 25, 1940 in Indianapolis. Phil was a loving husband, a devoted father, a comedic grandfather, and an enthusiastic coach. He proudly served in the US Navy and worked hard for his family. We will all miss him dearly and always carry a part of him in us. He was preceded in death by his parents, Salvatore "Tudie" Miceli and Anna Marie Miceli; his sister, Marie Ann Piazza and her husband, Paul Anthony Piazza. Phil is survived by his wife, Cheryl Ennis Miceli; daughters, Beth Miceli Cooper (Mick), Ann Steele; sons, Salvatore Miceli (Kris), Nicholas Miceli (Lisa McNeese Miceli); grandchildren, Andrew, Gabriella, Bradshaw, Brandon, Philip, Alex, Dominic; and his nephew, Pete Piazza (Sharon). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at 10 a.m. in St. Roch Catholic Church. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. in Daniel F. O'Riley Funeral Home where morning prayers will be said on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. prior to Mass. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
