Rosalie "Rosie" Tetrick

Rosalie “Rosie” Tetrick, 79, of Indianapolis, passed away Sunday, November 26, 2017 in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her loved ones. Born in Indianapolis on June 6, 1938, Rosie was the daughter of Edward and Lucille (Owens) Bauman; her parents preceded her in death. On February 18, 1967 she was united in marriage to her loving husband, Kenneth W. Tetrick and he survives.

Rosie worked as the office manager at Kenworth of Indianapolis for 20 years and was a faithful member of St. Roch Catholic Church. A loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother, Rosie’s memory will be cherished by her family and friends.

Her brother, John Bauman also preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Ken; her son, Christopher W. Tetrick of Indianapolis; her daughter, Carolyn S. (Dale) Reed of Martinsville; brother, Kent E. Bauman of Indianapolis; sister, Susan Laker of Indianapolis; five grandchildren, Jamie, Jenell, Jordan, Mackenzie, and Jackson; and two great grandchildren, Kevin and Kendrick.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of Rosie Tetrick from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at the Daniel F. O’Riley Funeral Home, 6107 S. East Street, Indianapolis. Morning prayers will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at the funeral home followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Roch Catholic Church.
