Rosemary T. "Rory" Wyss

Rosemary T. “Rory” Wyss, Indianapolis, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2017. Rory was born October 15, 1956, in Indianapolis, to the late William and Gertrude (Koers) Wyss.

Celebrating her life are sisters, Angela Wyss Brown and Jeannine Wyss Boyd of Dallas; nephews, Trent and Travis Brown and their families and Ian Boyd; beloved aunt, Marlene Koers; numerous cousins and friends, Bloomington hiking friends, and members of the Indianapolis Hiking Club, and supportive colleagues at Frost Brown Todd, LLC, join her family in remembering her.

In addition to her lengthy administrative career in private law, Rory worked for the FBI, hiked, and traveled extensively across five continents, the United States, the District of Columbia, Canada, and Mexico. She was an historian, avid reader, and participated in both Ballroom and Contra dance activities for many years.

Friends and family will gather on Wednesday, August 2, 2017, 5 – 6:30 p.m., in the Daniel F. O’Riley Funeral Home, 6107 S. East St., Indianapolis. A Celebration of Life will begin at 6:30 that will conclude with a video tribute in memory of Rory’s life.
