Scott David Kuckuck, 53, of Indianapolis, IN, having dutifully fulfilled the commands to “love God” and “love people”, was welcomed into heaven as a “good and faithful servant” on Feb 25, 2025.
Scott was born and raised in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. He was a member of the ‘91 graduating class of Snider High School and participated beyond academics as a member of bands (saxophone) and soccer team. Upon graduation from Purdue University, Scott began his 25 year career at Eli Lilly and Company (Lilly) in Indianapolis.
In addition to treating others as himself, Scott's love for God was evidenced by his membership at Mt. Pleasant Christian Church (Greenwood, Indiana) and his dedicated support to mission organizations around the globe.
Scott's love for people was evidenced by his drive to connect and stay connected to family and friends. Whether playing games (card/board/online), vacationing, or simply having dinner, it was the interaction with people that was the important part.
Scott was a proud supporter of armed forces personnel and dedicated his time and energy to USO and Honor Flight events.
From archery to photography to sport shooting to automobiles, Scott had a wide range of hobbies and interests and enjoyed the journey of improvement in each area.
Scott had a gentle spirit and was a friend to all animal kind with a special affinity for horses.
Scott is survived by his loving friends and family who mourn his departure, but celebrate his eternal life with Jesus. Scott's mother Cledamae, father David, brother Mark, sister-in-law Eve, nephew Samuel, and niece Abigail encourage all of his surviving friends and family to keep the memory of Scott, his selflessness, generosity, and his good works alive through personal action.
In lieu of flowers, if desired, please contribute to one of the organizations below that Scott had supported.
Information on a celebration of life event will be forthcoming in the near future.
