Sharren Marie Grathwohl -

November 21, 1946 – September 14, 2020.

Indianapolis – Sharren Marie Grathwohl, was born in Dawagiac Michigan in 1946. Sharren was the beloved daughter of Francis and Rose Phelps, and survived by her loving and grateful son, Shane Grathwohl.

Sharren graduated from Niles Highschool in 1964, and enjoyed keeping in touch her Niles friends. Sharren worked in management at Indiana Bell for nearly two decades, then transitioned to a managing real estate brokerage, owning a franchise spanning the entire state of Indiana. Sharren finished her career at her favorite employment position of her life (aside from being a mother), as a manager for Hilton. Sharren was excited to be coming out of retirement, being asked to continue her management career with Hilton.

Sharren was known as a brilliant, vibrant business woman who sincerely cared for the people she met. Sharren was also a dedicated activist supporting women’s rights and opportunities, and was an outspoken advocate for social justice for all.

Sharren will rest in peace in Calvary Cemetery next to her father, and surrounded by her large, loving family in Niles, Michigan
