Spencer Richardson

January 31, 1940 — July 11, 2021

Spencer Earl Richardson went to sail the blue seas of heaven with his shipmates on eternal patrol on July 11, 2021. Mr. Richardson was born on January 31, 1940 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late John E. and June H. (Ogle) Richardson.

Spencer graduated Arsenal Technical High School in 1958 and attended Purdue University Indianapolis Extension. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1959-1963 and was honorably discharged as petty officer 2nd class. Mr. Richardson was employed by RCA Thompson Consumer Electronics in Indianapolis for 34 years as a cost analyst. He then worked for Marian Inc. for six years as a customer quotation estimator. Mr. Richardson enjoyed watching Chicago Bears football, New England Patriots Football, and Boston Red Sox baseball. In Spencer’s younger years he was a great racquetball player, winning the club championship twice. He also was an avid golfer who even made his own clubs!

Mr. Richardson is preceded in death by his “two ladies” (wives), Carlann F. (Eschenbach) Richardson, his wife of 40 years and Maureen A.(Quigley) Richardson of 6 and half years.

Survivors include sons; John M. Richardson of Greenwood, Indiana and Scott A. Richardson of Deerfield, Illinois; a grandson, Michael A. Richardson (Jacki) of Indianapolis, Indiana, and a great grandchild Melody Jade Richardson and Catherine Louise Richardson.
