Susie graduated from Chartrand High School in 1969. She went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in education from Ball State University and a master’s degree from Indiana University. Susie was an elementary and music teacher for 31 years at St. Mark and Indianapolis Public Schools.
When not working, Susie enjoyed relaxing at the lake, whether it be basking in the sunshine or spending time with her family at Prince’s Lakes. A good shopping trip to Kohl’s, watching Jeopardy or Wheel of Fortune, taking trips to Florida, and working on a crossword puzzle were other things she enjoyed. Susie was a devoted member of St. Barnabas Catholic Church where she enjoyed cantoring for Masses. Above all, Susie absolutely loved spending time with her family.
Susie was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Barbara A. Hill.
