Thomas J. McCarthy

Walter Daniels, author and mentor to budding authors was born Thomas Joseph McCarthy in Indianapolis on December 21, 1948. He passed away at Methodist Hospital on September 9, 2018. His mother, Marjorie M. McCarthy and his brother, Daniel F. McCarthy preceded him in death. His father, Thomas W. McCarthy, an aunt, Josephine Mangus and an uncle, Fred K. McCarthy survive him.

Services will be held at a later date. Final care and cremation arrangements are entrusted to the Daniel F. O’Riley Funeral Home, 6107 S. East Street, Indianapolis.
