Thomas Joseph "Tom" Morrison

Thomas Joseph “Tom” Morrison, 87, of Indianapolis, passed away on September 9, 2022. Tom was born on March 9, 1935, to the late James Edwin and Helen Marie (Eckstein) Morrison in Beech Grove, Indiana. Tom graduated from Beech Grove High School and went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Navy. Tom worked for Link Belt his entire career as a machinist.

Family was important, and Tom made it a priority to stay in close contact with his extended family, especially his cousins. Casting a fishing line or watching a good game of football were activities he enjoyed partaking in. Above all, Tom was a kind man with a wonderful sense of humor; he was loved by all he encountered.

Along with his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his brothers, Michael (Judith), James, and Daniel Morrison; and his fiancé of 45 years, Jenny Moore.

He is survived by his devoted caretaker, Kathy Moore; a sister-in-law, Mary Lou Morrison; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Tom’s Life Celebration® visitation will be on Friday, September 9, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the chapel at O’Riley-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, 6107 South East Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227. The Funeral Service will follow in the funeral home beginning at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Indianapolis.
