Thomas J. Thompson, a devoted Electrician of Local 3, was born on September 29, 1959, in Queens, New York, and sadly passed away on May 10, 2024, in Indianapolis. Thomas was born to the late Thomas & Josephine Thompson. He was a graduate of Thomas Edison High School in Queens and later his passion by attending Electrician School.
Known for his giving nature and gentle soul, Thomas touched the lives of many. His kind-hearted spirit shone through in all aspects of his life. Beyond his professional accomplishments as an electrician, Thomas found joy in various hobbies and interests. He had a deep love for horse racing and was a fervent fan of sports. Supporting the NY Giants, NY Mets, and the NY Rangers brought him immense happiness. Additionally, indulging in True Crime TV shows was a favorite pastime that he cherished.
Tom is survived by his loving wife; Theresa Thompson, son; Patrick Thompson, and nephew; Christopher Buzzone.
Tom is preceded in death by his sister; Theresa Thompson.
Thomas J. Thompson's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him for his warm heart, selflessness, and unwavering kindness. His legacy of compassion and generosity will continue to inspire those whose lives he touched.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at St. Mark Catholic Church at 10:00am.
