Travis Michael Bollman, age 33, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 26, 2016. Travis was born in Indianapolis on August 14, 1982. Outgoing and charismatic from an early age, Travis could be counted upon to bring fun and laughter to any situation. In 2001, he graduated from Decatur Central High School, where he excelled at golf and bowling. He also studied for two years at Vincennes University, where he showed a great talent for art and visual design. As an adult, Travis was a free spirit. Although he could learn to do almost anything, Travis never limited himself to one career. Over the course of his 20s and early 30s, he spent time repairing cell phone towers in Hawaii, laying natural gas pipelines in Northern Minnesota, working construction in Florida, and driving tow motors in warehouses across the Indianapolis area.
Travis was at his happiest when he was surrounded by friends and family – either grilling out and cheering for the Notre Dame football team, or relaxing on a beach with good music and a drink in his hand. He also cherished his two sons, who he loved to impress with his wild stories and big muscles.
Travis is survived by his father, Stephen Bollman; his mother and step-father, Carol and Chris Enstrom; his sons, Braylon and Memphis Bollman; his sister and sister-in-law Amber Bollman and Bobbi Shamhart; his stepbrother, Eli Enstrom and his grandparents, Bob and Martha Sexton and Pam Bollman. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Herman and Bonnie Sullivan, and Bob Bollman.
