Charlene Joyce Newman

Charlene Joyce Newman, of Indianapolis, died Sunday November 27, 2022.  She was born on May 15, 1943 in Indianapolis to the late Charles and Eileen (Delks) Gabbard. 

Charlene worked for 34 years for National City Bank, retiring as branch manager.  Charlene enjoyed going to the cover bridge festival, visiting Georgia, fishing and buying jewelry.

Charlene is survived by her husband Virgil Newman, step son Jeff Newman, sister Rosie Stringer.  She is preceded in death by her step son Robert Newman and her step brothers.

Services were entrusted to O’Riley Branson Funeral Service and Crematory, 6107 S. East Street, Indianapolis, Indiana.
