Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. My favorite memory of Marty is when he and Linda hosted an outdoor Halloween party next door to my house many years ago in Evansville, IN. Marty made a large kettle of black bean chili which he stirred over a wood fire for hours. We had never tasted black bean chili before Marty introduced us and to this day, we think of Marty whenever I cook this chili. Marty was such a great neighbor and fun person to be around. Rest in peace, Marty.
    Love,
    Cindy and George Martin

  2. Linda, our thoughts and prayers are with you and with Marty’s children. We’re thankful you had so many wonderful years together. Love, Muff & Bob

  3. Linda, we’ve had so many wonderful memories of Marty over the years, but my most favorite was when he played Santa for Kelli the year we moved to Evansville. I’ll always remember him asking her what she wanted him to bring her for Christmas and then him pulling a white teddy bear out of his bag of toys. EXACTLY what she asked for!!!! I’ve believed ever since that moment! God bless him and you! With love, Jeri
