Marilyn Janet Schrage, 90, formerly of Indianapolis, died on April 4, 2025, in Bloomington, Indiana. She was born on August 30, 1934, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Emmett and Audrey Guetch Miller. Marilyn was known throughout her life for being exceptionally loving, kind, and helpful – traits that endeared her to all who knew her.
Marilyn dedicated many years of service as a secretary at St. Mark Catholic School and the Indianapolis Archdiocese, roles in which she truly flourished by providing support and warmth to the communities she served. Her commitment extended to her religious life at St. Mark Catholic Church, enhancing her role as a nurturer and supporter within her community.
Marilyn cherished the love and companionship of her husband, Ralph Bernard Schrage, who predeceased her. Together, they shared a passion for travel and camping, experiences that brought significant joy and enrichment to their lives.
Marilyn leaves behind a loving family, including her children Gary (Beth) Schrage, Donna (Mike) Coffey, and Sue (Tom) Gregory. Her joy was further multiplied by her grandchildren Danielle McPeck, Amy Walworth, Rachel Schrage, Nicole Richards, Allison Juskevice, Daniel Richards, Anthony Gregory, Nicholas Gregory, great grandchildren Dalton, Benjamin, Olivia, Hannah McPeck, Easton, Owen Walworth, Mason, Connor, Emma, Lilly Juskevice, Austin, Reid Richards, Samwise Gregory, all of whom brought great happiness into her life.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Schrage, parents Emmett and Audrey Miller, sister Carole Adams, and brother David Miller.
A private family service will be held for Marilyn.

Her life was a beacon of warmth and love, her legacy one of devotion and kindness. She will be profoundly missed by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
