Deron “Rudi” G. Rudisill, was born on August 8, 1946, in Champaign, Illinois. He peacefully departed this world on August 4, 2025, in Martinsville, Indiana, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of hard work, dedication, and love.

Rudi devoted over 20 years of his life to McFarland Foods as a route supervisor, a position he worked diligently in until his retirement in 2011. His commitment to his career was a testament to his strong work ethic and determination, and he was known for his reliable presence and approachability among colleagues.

A proud alumnus of Brownsburg High School, Rudi graduated in the class of 1966. He further pursued his passion for design by traveling to Chicago to study architecture, reflecting a lifelong interest in creativity and craftsmanship.

Rudi’s personal interests brought joy to his life. He was an avid fan of the Indianapolis Colts and the San Francisco 49’s, often spending his weekends engaging with the excitement of the games. His adventurous spirit thrived on riding his Harley Davidson, exploring the open roads, and enjoying the freedom it brought. Adding to his creative pursuits, he took pleasure in putting together old model toy cars, captivating his imagination and reflecting his attention to detail.

In addition to his professional life and passions, Rudi held deep family ties. He is survived by his loving daughter, Lisa Rudisill (Jay), his mother, Mary Philbeck Butow, as well as his grandchildren, Cody G. Rudisill and Anna Haines (Todd). He leaves behind a sister, Linda Kay Lake (Don), who will deeply miss him. Rudi also now joins his late father, Herman Rudisill, in eternal rest.

Visitation services will be held on August 8, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at O’Riley – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, located at 6107 S East St, Indianapolis, IN 46227. Following the visitation, a graveside service will take place the same day at Calvary Cemetery, starting at 2:30 PM at 435 W Troy Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46225.
