Jason Alexander Peralta, born on April 27, 2005, in Indianapolis, Indiana, left our world too soon on November 18, 2025, at the tender age of 20. His vibrant spirit and contagious enthusiasm for life will be truly missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
A proud graduate of Perry Meridian Class of 2023, Jason was not just an excellent student but also a passionate individual who embraced every moment and experience. He dedicated a part of his life to work at Lathom Pool Company, where he showcased his hardworking nature and unwavering dedication.
Those who knew Jason cherished his love for sports. A true sports fan, he found joy in soccer and basketball, often spending time sharing his excitement about games and players with family and friends. It was his infectious passion that brought people together, forging lasting memories that will be held dear.
Beyond sports, Jason harbored a lifelong dream of becoming a music producer. His love for music transcended mere interest; it was an integral part of who he was. He enjoyed spending hours listening to different genres and envisioning a future filled with melodies and rhythms.
Jason’s personality radiated warmth and generosity; he had an immense love for his little brother and family. They were the cornerstone of his life, and he treasured every moment shared with them. The bonds he formed with his mother, Elissa Figueroa; stepfather, Emilson Figueroa; brother, Emilson Figueroa; stepbrother, Jairo Mendez; grandmother, Anissa Goulding; aunts and uncles, Kirs Hammer, Charly Goulding, and Jacob Goulding; and his cousins and extended family and friends, were profound, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts. Together, they crafted a mosaic of beautiful memories that will continue to bring them comfort during this difficult time.
Jason was preceded in death by his beloved grandfather, Charles Hammer, whose memory lives on in the stories shared and the lessons imparted to those he loved.
A visitation in celebration of Jason’s life will be held at O’Riley – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, located at 6107 S East St, Indianapolis, IN 46227. Family and friends may gather on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life from 1:00 PM, a poignant occasion where all can come together in remembrance and gratitude for Jason’s time with us. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
