A spirited individual, Claire drew immense joy from the simple pleasures of life. She cherished her time spent with loved ones, reveling in the company of family and friends. Her affectionate bond with her dog brightened her days, serving as a testament to her nurturing spirit. As a proud member of the Indianapolis Deaf Club, she became an integral part of a community that cherished connection and understanding, fostering relationships that transcended spoken words.
Claire’s family, who provided her with unwavering support, includes her beloved mother, Katherine Fox Carr, and her siblings—Cori (Ralph) Dabney, Todd (Beth) Keck, Con (Sarah) Carr, and Dr. Frank (Laura) Carr, and her aunt Katherine and uncles Edward and Michael, along with several nieces and nephews, her deaf family, further enrich her legacy. She is proceded in death is her father, Cornelius Carr, whose memory remains a guiding light for her kin.
A Celebration of Claire’s life will be held at a later date at the O’Riley – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, 6107 S. East Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227.
Claire’s life was a tapestry woven from vibrant threads of compassion, strength, and joy, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew her.
