Daniel C. Weeden
67, of Greenwood, passed away on April 21, 2026, at Otterbein Senior Living in Franklin. Daniel was born on April 22, 1958 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late, David Weeden and Helen (Rebber) Weeden.

Daniel earned his master’s degree from Indiana University and was an avid fan of IU Basketball and IU Football. He worked as a business analyst for Federal Home Loan Bank for many years, retiring in 2012. He was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church and the Huntington’s Disease Society of America. He will be remembered as a family man, who was intelligent, funny, caring and a huge sports fan!

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Steve Weeden and the mother of his children, Cindi Lynn Sams.

He is survived by his daughter Emma Haupt (Mike); son Sam Weeden (Sarah); sisters Cindy DeJulio (Emil), Jenny Klepetka (Vince), and grandchildren Laynie Haupt, Dawson Haupt, and Sonny Weeden.

The family will host a celebration of Daniel’s life on Friday, May 8th at 6:00pm at Calvary Lutheran Church, 6111 Shelby St, Indianapolis, IN 46227.
