Haylee Lynn Morales, 27, of Indianapolis, a beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, and friend, was born on March 4, 1999, in Indianapolis. It is with profound sadness that we announce her passing on May 4, 2026, in the same city where she built cherished memories and touched many lives.

From the very beginning, Haylee’s life was one of warmth, intelligence, and boundless generosity. Those who knew her remember a young woman who was not only remarkably witty but also deeply kind and passionate. Her loyalty to family and friends was a defining thread woven throughout her life’s fabric. Haylee never met a stranger; she extended kindness and acceptance to every soul she encountered, leaving lasting impressions with her genuine spirit.

Haylee’s love for learning was apparent from her school days at Arsenal Technical High School. She continued to pursue her education at Ivy Tech, driven by a thirst for knowledge and growth. Outside the classroom, she was an enthusiastic softball player, relishing the camaraderie of the game and the joy it brought her. Haylee treasured spending time with her friends, creating memories filled with laughter and warmth.

Central to Haylee’s heart was her family. She shared a special closeness with her siblings, mom and her grandpa, bonds that were a source of strength and happiness throughout her life. These relationships were among her most treasured and exemplified her commitment to those she loved.

Haylee is survived by her loving mother; Veronica Morales, step father; Gabriel Holmes Sr., father; JR Powers, siblings; Gabriel Holmes II, Ernest Holmes, Kylee Morales, and River Bridges, uncle; Justin Morales, along with her grandfather; Mark Morales.

She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Vicki D. Morales.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

Haylee Lynn Morales leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering devotion. Her light shone brightly in the lives she touched, and her memory will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her. Though her time was far too brief, the depth of her impact will echo through the hearts of her family and friends forever.

Our thoughts remain with those who mourn her loss, holding tight to the beautiful ways Haylee enriched their lives. May we all find comfort in celebrating her radiant spirit and the gift she was to this world. Rest in peace, Haylee, beloved daughter of Indianapolis. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
